About
Founded by Akilah Martinez, an award-winning artist and creative technologist who focuses on the creation of building an Indigenous-based circular economic ecosystem that cycles off of language & culture revitalization through video art and XR technology.
Akilah is a recipient of Fulcrum Fund 2022 through The Andy Warhol Foundation, Native Arts and Cultures Foundation LIFT 2022, and Artizen Fund 2023. Akilah is a guest speaker at the MIT XR Reality Hackathon in Cambridge, MA, is a current 2024 City of Albuquerque UETF Resiliency Artist in Residence, a recipient of 2024 WESTAF BIPOC, a 2024 Amerind Museum Artist in Residence, a 2024 Diné College Nits’ą́ą́dóó Ídahwiil’aah Mellon Foundation Fellow, and a Niantic Developer Accelerator Fund recipent.
